This safe, family-friendly evening offers something for everyone:

- BMI will sell refreshments, including wine, beer, soda, and water; cotton candy, popcorn, and sno-cones.

Advance purchase strongly recommended for this sell-out event. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. rain or shine. No glass bottles, no grills, no pets. No refunds will be given; fireworks are managed by the City of Baltimore, not by BMI.

This month at Kooper's, we are partnering with Pat LaFrieda Meats Purveyors to offer you a mouth-watering Burger.
Kooper's Pat LaFrieda Burger features half-pound of juicy and flavorful dry-aged Creekstone Premium Black Angus beef burger, Boston Bibb lettuce, Red Dragon mustard seed and ale cheddar cheese, whiskey-caramelized onions, applewood-smoked bacon and pink peppercorn aioli served on a brioche bun with fries, and a pickle spear.

On Saturday, May 31, join the Kooper's Chowhound Burger Wagon & Woody's Taco Island and directly support the Brewers Association of Maryland’s mission to promote Maryland Craft Beer. This family friendly festival on Carroll Creek Park, in Downtown Frederick features over 25 Maryland brewing companies pouring over 150 unique, fresh, and local craft beers. Admission ticket includes tasting tokens and a commemorative glass. Additional tokens as well a variety of foods will be available for purchase. Join us to support and celebrate Maryland Beer!
With a mere 100 meters to glory, this is the run for those of us who don’t actually like to run, but really like to say that we like to run!
Flying Dog's inaugural Sprint for Spat 0.10K will happen Sunday, May 4 in Baltimore’s historic Fells Point neighborhood. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults and the Oyster Recovery Partnership.
Runners will compete on a 100-meter course located within the South Broadway Square in Fells Point. A hydration station — featuring a Pearl Necklace Oyster Stout oyster shooter — will be located at the 0.05K mark!
At the conclusion of this grueling footrace, runners will refuel with tracks spun by DJ Landis Expandis, beer from yours truly, Kooper's Chowhound fare, and buck-a-shuck grilled and raw oysters from local Rappahannock River Oysters, Barren Island Oysters, and Hollywood Oysters.
Race registration is $23 and includes a race t-shirt, 0.01K bumper sticker, and bragging rights. Event is limited to those 21 and older. Space is limited, so snag your spot today.
Brewmore | Baltimore is a 65-minute documentary detailing the rich history of the brewing industry in Baltimore, Maryland. Using fascinating anecdotes, rare photographs, and intimate interviews, the film covers well-known local breweries including Heavy Seas, as well as the home brewing community and organizations preserving the brewing history in Baltimore.
Heavy Seas is hosting a special screening of the film “Brewmore | Baltimore” at the brewery on April 19th. The event begins at 5pm with award-winning beers served in the Heavy Seas Tap Room (located at the brewery). The “theater” will be setup among the fermenters and tanks within the brewery, and the screening will begin at 6pm.
The Kooper's Chowhound Burger Wagon will be there, serving all our tasty burgers from 5pm to 10pm!
